California Train Collision

According to a recent report by The Federal Railroad Administration Office of Safety Analysis, January 2008 to June 2008 saw the following statistics regarding the railroad industry:

  • Number of fatal accidents - 367
  • Nonfatal incidents - 3,990
  • Total train miles logged - 387,612,424
